The Aeolian chamber players (Episode 8 of 33, Part 1 of 2)

Recording of the Aeolian Chamber Players' tenth anniversary concert at WBAI's Free Music Store on January 15th, 1972. The Aeolian Chamber Players specialize in contemporary classical music and have been the resident ensemble at Bowdoin College in Maine since 1964.

The New York Kantorei performs at St. Michael's Episcopal Church on West 99th and Amsterdam as part of WBAI's Free Music Store. Chorus and orchestra conducted by Barbara Lingelbach. On part 2 of this recording the Kantorei performs Johann Sebastian Bach's Cantata no. 21 (Ich hatte viel Bekummernis, BWV 21).

Third annual rag-revival reunion (Episode 28 of 33, Part 1 of 3)

The Free Music Store's Third Annual Rag-Revival Reunion on WBAI. WBAI's Dan Kavanaugh, Tony Elitcher, Eric Salzman and Barbara Oka give short speeches at the beginning of the program. Part 1 of the recording features Dan Paget playing Original rags by Scott Joplin, The ragtime nightingale by Joe Lamb, The cascades by Scott Joplin, and The American beauty rag by Joe Lamb.
