This week on From the Vault we present two outstanding interviews with the legendary South African trumpeter, composer, and singer Hugh Masakela, probably best known for his smash hits "Grazing in the Grass" (1968) and "Bring Him Back Home" (1987), a song that would become an anthem for the movement to free Nelson Mandela.

Taken from a seven-part 1980 series called Great Women, this episode, titled Susan B. Antony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton, was broadcast on Saturday, July 19th 1980 at 1:00pm following a tribute to Sojourner Truth.

Sybil Jason (1927-2011), Warner Brothers moppets star of the 1930's, talks about the films she made with Michael Curtiz, Kay Francis, and Bette Davis and why her career came to such an abrupt end. Jason was born in South Africa, then spent much time in London. Richard Lamparski visits with her in Hollywood.
