Description:
This is a phone call between KPFA attorney Peter Franck and a man named Barr from the FBI which occurred on May 25, 1974, after 6:00 p.m., which is when KPFA aired a tape they had received from the SLA. In the conversation, Barr requests information from Franck. Franck reads a KPFA press release to him and refuses to give any further information without court orders, per KPFA's obligation to protect their news sources (reporter's privilege). Franck also offers his office number. It is unclear whether this recorded phone conversation was ever broadcast.
