“That jackass across the street” is what a neighbor called Derrel Myers when he launched his 30-day vigil on the steps of the Atomic Energy Commission in Berkeley, to dramatize his support of the Everyman 1 crew serving 30-day sentence for its sailing. Everyman I and II were American boats that sailed from San Francisco for the Pacific nuclear testing grounds. Derrel is interviewed by Elsa Knight Thompson.
