FTV 328 Reproductive Rights
This week on From the Vault we present two outstanding programs that help sort the various political stances on women’s reproductive rights. We first listen to an episode of the 1982 award-winning Bill of Rights Radio Education Project titled Abortion: A Matter of Life and Death, which examines the Supreme Court Roe vs. Wade case. We follow that with a 1996 fictional documentary titled After Roe, which looks at what life in the United States would be like after the abolition of abortion.
From the Vault is presented through the Pacifica Radio Archives Preservation and Access Project, funded in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts, past grants from the Grammy Foundation, the Ford Foundation, and the American Archive funded by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, along with the generous support of Pacifica Radio listeners.
