Performance documentary featuring the Spirit Ensemble and Jaja Matsimela. The Ensemble performs African and Afro-Caribbean music, raging from traditional African music to contemporary New York compositions. Series which explores the contemporary New Orleans jazz scene; from avant-garde to more traditional, and the tensions which change cause. Each program contains interviews and about 50 minutes of music.
