The Tragedy of Kuwait / Naim and Niamat Farhat ; interviewed by Bob Debolt.

Naim Farat, an American citizen who grew up in Kuwait, discusses the tragic circumstances of four family members living in that country during and after the Gulf War, 1990-1991. Shortly following the U.S. liberation of Kuwait, a Kuwait army officer entered the Farhat home in Kuwait City. He raped and shot Naim's sister Niamat, and killed his father and brother.

A surreal radio drama about changing identities and life decisions. An American family, driving along the north Italian cost, passes an old woman standing by the road in an impoverished fishing village. The mother, Ellen, is drawn to return later, and enters the old woman's house where she takes on the identity of the old woman's daughter, Camilla.
