Martin Cano works as a diversity consultant, running workshops to help corporations, government agencies, and other organizations deal with issues of growing diversity in the workplace. People are forced to integrate, and sometimes this leads to resentment which can only be overcome through consciousness raising, sensitivity training, and intervention to help diverse people get along.

Rick Fields, author of The Code of the Warrior, discusses his book which represents a personal odyssey into the relationship between human beings and war, and why war is so much at the center of the human condition. He has found both positive warriors (those who are in touch with their own power) as well as destructive warriors.

Bahe Keediniihi, a native of Big Mountain, describes the struggle to resist the United States relocation of Native Americans, which began in the early 19th century and continues to the present. The government has fabricated a conflict between the Dine and Navajo in order to justify brutal relocation efforts and the wiping out of the traditional inhabitants.

Paul Matzner, technical specialist in charge of the 20 year old Library of Natural Sounds discusses its exhibits which show California's ecological picture in sound. The library has sounds of environments, insects, mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. Matzner discusses the decrease in natural sounds in California, has his experiences collecting for the museum.

Khanaka Shayee, a Kurdish Iraqi women now living in Berkeley, Californai, discusses Kurdish culture and history. She tells the story of her family who have been active in the struggle for self-determination.
