Description:

Talk by Terence McKenna, researcher into psychadelic plants and their impact upon the human condition. He explores how the psychadelic experience will end the fiction of civilization, bringing about a new cosmic order. All of the isntitutions developed over the last 15,000 years are essentially lethal, but we have been brainwashed to keep them working. The models for the future, he argues, must come from an understanding of nature as a minded entity. This new perspective can help end the basics of capitalism: extracting cheap labor and cheap resources to sell products to the wealthy. Corporations represent a toxic force in society which must be overcome by cultivating love. McKennaconcludes by warning that the time is now.
