Dramatic recreation produced on the bicentennial of the French Revolution, which began 14 July 1789, when French peasants and revolutionaries stormed the Parisian prison, the Bastille. The production examines the confrontation of nobles and commoners at Versailles, the attack on the Bastille, the Declaration of the Rights of Man, the flight of the Royal Family, and the massacre on the Field of Mars.
