West examines issues such as: the continuing concentration of wealth into the hands of the few; the growth of corporate power; the unequal tax system; Black Nationalism in its various forms; the need for a multi-racial movement to promote real change; the universal struggle against oppression; the economic crisis among the poor and working poor; and the need for community in cities. The program concludes with listener call-ins which are addressed by West and Lane.
