The book is more than an autobiography. It is a review of the Civil Rights movement of the 1960's. Farmer is the former leader of C.O.R.E., Congress of Racial Equeality and a great leader in the Civil Rights movement. Farmer describes his experience and highlights of the movement. He concludes the discussion by stating that he does not see any of the Civil Rights organizations with a plan to deal with the 1980's and 1990's. - Broadcast on February 21, 1985.
