An evening of music and poetry for, by, and about Third World gay people. Hosted by Gerald (?) of KPFA's Fruit Punch Collective. Performers include Chrystos, Margaret Sloan, Ahjida(sp?), Pat Parker, and Blackberri.<br><br>The following poems and songs are performed: Chrystos: "I walk in the history of my people"; "Priorities"; "Crazy half-breed grandpa whispers". Margaret Sloan: "The poet speaks of herself"; "Poem to my little black woman-child". Ahjida[sp?] tells a story and performs with Nigerian percussion. Pat Parker: untitled poem ("Don't let the fascists speak"); untitled poem ("Let me come to you naked"); "A small contradiction"; "For Willyce"; "Pater Maria Sangre[sp?]; "To my vegetarian friend". Blackberri sings four songs including "One more ticket for the show" and "What would you do?". Pat Parker reads another poem: "For the straight folks who don't mind gays but wish they weren't so blatant."
