Naim Farat, an American citizen who grew up in Kuwait, discusses the tragic circumstances of four family members living in that country during and after the Gulf War, 1990-1991. Shortly following the U.S. liberation of Kuwait, a Kuwait army officer entered the Farhat home in Kuwait City. He raped and shot Naim's sister Niamat, and killed his father and brother. Although Niamat survived, whe is 70% paralyzed and severly traumatized.
