Highlights of actuality from the celebration of the Mexican holiday as celebrated in Los Angeles. Produced by Moctesuma Esparza and Victor Vazquez. This recording was made at the fourth annual celebration of Dia de Los Muertos in the Evergreen Cemetery in East Los Angeles on November 2, 1974. This celebration was organized by a group of artists, including Self Help Graphics, Los Four, ASCO Art Productions, Teatro de Los Ninos, and Teatro de la Mezcla. The teatros were performed at the cemetery where a mass was held, then a procession to Self Help Graphic's studio. There the celebration continued with music, art, film, and theater arts.
