Marcia Tucker, associate curator of the Whitney Museum in New York City, describes how women artists in New York have related to the women's movement, museums, and political protest in general. She discusses the recent firing and subsequent strikes by Museum of Modern Art employees, as well as protests that have happened at the Whitney. Also present is Linda Cathcart, curatorial intern at the Whitney. Clare Loeb, co-director of Drama and Literature at KPFK, is the interviewer. Produced by Clare Loeb.
