Janet Guthrie: woman race car driver

Program Title:
Janet Guthrie: woman race car driver
PRA Archive #:
IZ0923
Description:

Sixteen minutes of a speech given by Janet Guthrie, professional race car driver, and first woman to race the Indianapolis 500 in 1977. She talks about her experiences with sexism and racing. Tape ends before her remarks do. No additional information (date, location) given on the tape label, but a program from the 1987 Within Multivitamins and the Women's Sports Foundation sponsored conference on health and fitness for athletic women at San Francisco State University was found in the January 1987 KPFA folio. Need to confirm if this is the same program. https://archive.org/details/kpfafoliojan87paci
