James "Jimmy" Seals, guitar and violin, and Darrell "Dash" Crofts, electric mandolin and electric piano, perform down-home songs, ballads and some country fiddle tunes at WBAI's Free Music Store on November 14, 1971. Bobby Lichtig accompanies them on bass. Songs include Freaks fret, Irish linen, Earth, Eighth of January, Devil's dream, a Tuvan singing demonstration of Bonaparte's retreat, Tin town, Birthday of my thoughts, Cotton mouth, Ridin' thumb, Wisdom, Springfield mill, High on the mountain, The year of Sunday, and Granny, will your dog bite?. A heckler disrupts before Ridin' thumb and was edited out for broadcast.
