Guitarist/singer-songwriter David Bromberg plays WBAI's Free Music Store with his band the Fabulous Torpedoes, consisting of Steve Burgh, bass and vocals; Doris Abrahams, vocals and guitar; "Blind Erik Flatpick" Frandsen, vocals and guitar; Jeff Gutcheon, piano and vocals; Kenny Kosek, fiddle and vocals; Andy Statman, mandolin; and Gary Sun Luck, congas. Part 2 of this recording begins with fiddle tunes with Bromberg on mandolin, Last song for Shelby Jean, Ugly hour, Dark hollow, Goin' back to Fresno (with Frandsen on vocals), Dying crapshooter's blues (with Frandsen on vocals), an instrumental solo played by Frandsen, The pope (with Frandsen on vocals), Danger man, Tennessee waltz, Run mountain rag, and Good morning little schoolgirl. Recorded in stereo by David Rapkin and Tony Elitcher on March 3, 1972 by WBAI's Music Department. Concert of popular music.
