Other topics discussed include ethnic cleansing, the war in Bosnia and the United States' mixed signals to the affected groups in that region of the world| she also discusses the media's negative and positive role regarding Arabs and Jews. #13. In the name of peace. Dove John, a musician and peace activist, walked across America in the name of peace. Ms. John also initiated a similar walk in the former Soviet Union. Excerpts of her music are played during the program. Ms. John speaks about some of her colleagues' fears as she prepared to walk across the country.
