War And Political Repression| Produced by KPFK| Recorded on January 17, 1969. - CONTENT: War and political repression was the topic of a commission of Inquiry held in Pauley Ballroom on the UCLA campus, sponsored by the Stop the Draft Week Committee on the occassion of the beginning of the Oakland Seven's Conspiracy trial. This program features Vincent Hallinan who introduces Barry Silverman, Director of Research, ILWU who speaks about the Economic Costs of the War and discusses the labor's role in present society. The second speaker is Jim Hawley, a representative of the Radical Student Union, who talks about War Research at the University of California. - Broadcast on March 7, 1969.
