Documentary biography of Dylan Thomas, focusing on his early development; includes interviews with his mother, childhood friend Tillie Evans (Mrs. Owen Roberts), and Dylan Thomas and others reading his own work. Colin Edwards narrates this documentary on Dylan Thomas. It is interspersed with music, recordings of Thomas and others reciting his poetry, and actualities of interviews with Dylan's mother (at their boathouse) and with childhood friend Tillie Evans. The performers reading Thomas's work are Hugh Griffith, Emlyn Williams, Deion Chessie (sp?), and from the 1959 San Francisco Playhouse production of "Under Milk Wood" Douglas Hicks, Bruce Bishop, and Charles Whurlen.
