He speaks about the economic foundation for news broadcasting which guarantees a flow of misinformation to the American public. Mass media is grounded in denial, and is designed to eliminate alternative interpretations of events. The limited perspective is demonstrated by the ways mass media reported the U.S. invasion of Panama, the Israeli invasion of Lebanon, and the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait. The media also presents a limited view of ethnic conflict and diversity in this country.
