Poet Rochelle Owens reads selections of her work. Owens is the award-winning author of many controversial and innovative plays. They have been produced throughout the world and presented at festivals in Edinburgh, Berlin, Paris and Rome. In addition to writing for the theater, she has published five books of poetry, two collections of plays and has given many readings across the country. Her books are: Salt and Core (Black Sparrow Press), I Am the Babe of Joseph Stalin's Daughter (Kulchur Press), Poems from Joe's Garage (Burning Deck Press), The Joe Eighty-Two Creation Poems (Black Sparrow) and The Karl Marx Play and Others (Dutton).
