Performance by folk singers John Hammond (1942-) and Larry Johnson (1942-) at WBAI’s Free Music Store on March 29, 1972. WBAI’s Barbara Oka introduces the program. Hammond performs Riding in the moonlight, I can’t be satisfied, Love in vain, and Preachin’ Blues. Johnson performs Mean ol’ Frisco, Memphis five, Pea vine special, Keep it clean, Cookbook, and Early one morning. Together they play Wee midnight hours, Tell me Mama, and Look on yonder wall. Johnson performs How long blues, Old-time religion, and a blues instrumental. Produced and recorded in stereo by David Rapkin and WBAI’s Music Department.
