Mother Mallard’s Portable Masterpiece Company performs live at WBAI’s Free Music Store on January 22, 1972. The group, comprising David Borden, Steve Drews and Linda Fisher, is considered the world’s first synthesizer ensemble. They perform with five Moog synthesizers, an RMI electric piano and cartoons. Produced and presented in stereo by WBAI’s Music Department with thanks to Steve Rathe.
