Americans that might have been / Julian Granberry ; producedby Whiteskunk Productions.
Talk by Dr. Julian Granberry, a cross-cultural anthropologist and sociolinguist, presents an alternative history of the Americas based upon the assumption that Columbus had not arrived. Granberry presents three types of societies, based upon an analysis of their linguistic structures: unitary, dulastic, and trinary. A unitary society is greater than the individual with large sharing family structures. An example of China. A dualistic society, such as the Indo-Europeans, are territorial and possessive. A trinary society, such as the Arabic peoples and Amerindians, show characteristics of the first two, but with each aspect balancing out the other.|AMERICANS THAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN / Julian Granberry| produced by Whiteskunk Productions. - SERIES: The Columbus paradox| no. 8 - Talk by Dr. Julian Granberry, a cross-cultural anthropologist and sociolinguist, presents an alternative history of the Americas based upon the assumption that Columbus had not arrived.
