Michael Meade discusses his development as a musician, from his primary study of mythology. Early in his life he discovered the power of storytelling, and that mythology used to mean emergant truth but has come to mean falsity. The dominant culture is undergoing gradual change. Television has shortened our attention span--thus diminishing our ability to hear stories which make sense of a changing world. Modern music can help take the place of the rituals we no longer have.
