Failure to thrive : children of the 90's / Jackie Goldberg ; introduced by Ed Asner.
Jackie Goldberg speaks about defending the defenseless in our society, the children. According to social services regulations, the parents of the current generation would have their children taken away and put into state care. She goes on to detail the poverty in Los Angeles, which should not be allowedd since California has the eighth largest economy in the world. Unfortunately, 7 out of 8 voters have no contact with people under 18. She goes on to argue that everyone must become connected with children, especially through univerrsal health care which she is proposing as a ballot initiative. She concludes with a call to resist cynicism and instead support and fight for a future for our children.|FAILURE TO THRIVE : CHILDREN OF THE 90's / Jackie Goldberg| introduced by Ed Asner. - Jackie Goldberg speaks about defending the defenceless in our society, the children.
