Using Inglewood, California as a case study, this documentary examines the problems of racial and economic change in an urban community. Earl Ofari of KPFK talks to city officials, real estate people, homeowners, renters and bankers about city services, red-lining, maintenance and other topics that affect property values. Subjects interviewed for this program include Joseph Mayfield, a prominent Inglewood realtor; Ralph Webb, deputy budget director for the City of Inglewood; Chester Washington, prominent local newspaper publisher; Lee Weinstein, mayor of Inglewood; Wendell Henderson, president of Exclusive Properties Realty Company; Tony Frank, president of the Savings & Loan Corporation; and anonymous Inglewood residents.
