Ruth Kamen recorded and produced this sound portrait of a three day conference on women in Detroit at Wayne State University in 1970. Here, assembled in montage form is the music of Dona, a feminist singer; the voices of United Nations worker Ruth Gage Colby, author Betty Friedan, sociologist Marlene Dixon; and some people who attended, participated or resisted that conference on Women in Detroit.
