This is the fifth episode of "The poet's voice," likely KPFK broadcasted tapes of a televised program called "The poet's voice," a Theta Cable Television series from Los Angeles, January 1980. The host was TV actor and poet Macdonald Carey (1913-1994) and the poets read their work in front of an audience. This episode includes readings by Dennis Phillips (b. 1951) and Deena Metzger (b. 1936)

Another note about the date...found this on Deena Metzger's website: “The Poet’s Voice” (selected poems and photographs), Theta Cable Television series, Los Angeles. January 1980. (Available on cassette.) http://deenametzger.net/bibliography/ Metzger's poems are about Shaman and have music (drumming and humming) under them, performed live but not identified at the beginning or end of her set. No outro.
