Audio file QC (Pass One) notes:
Recoding exceeded 2 GB limit. Split into two files with 10 second overlap: 52:15 and 13:22. Hiss, distortion, very muffled/fuzzy sounding. Sound goes out completely a couple of times around 38-39 minutes in. With 11 minutes left in the program (end of file 2), the moderator starts reading a question from the audience, trails off, and there is just ambient sound until 10:48, about a full minute. Then they resume.
Nice intro by host. Colloquium could be this one from Columbia University on April 4-6, 1985: http://www.worldcat.org/title/remembering-simone-de-beauvoir/oclc/82310444
Host introduces herself at end of tape. Jacquee something, director of the French House, intros upcoming panel. Two minutes of ambient sound, as they set up for the next part of the colloquium.
