Audio changes after intro. Hum, hiss through panel part. Content: Vivelle originally heard these critics at the School for the Visual Arts, where they had been invited by Nancy Spiro as part of her course "Women in the arts." The four women are Ellen Lubelle, contributing editor to Arts Magazine; Phyllis Durfner, advisory editor to Arts International, writer for Art in America and teacher at William Patterson; Corinne Robins, writer for Art Spectrum, Arts Magazine, and the New York Book Review section; and April Kingsly, writer for Art in America, Arts Magazine, and teaches "Ideas in art" at School of Visual Arts. Kingsley, who moderated the original panel brought some of the questions she asked at that panel. Produced by Judith Vivelle, with engineering by Gary Sklar. Names not verified.
