Audio file QC (Pass One) notes:
Part A: Distortion, low levels. Content: Opens with 3:40 of Susan Bertram of the Museum of Modern Art speaking at the first meeting of the Museum Workers' Association of New York City, December 5, 1973, shortly after the conclusion of an 8-week strike of the professional and administrative staff association of the Museum of Modern Art. On December 13, Clare Loeb interviewed Susan Bertram, who was a senior program assistant in the international program; Rose Colmetz, a retired but still working employee (originally hired in 1952 under Porter McCray on the International program); and Joan Rabinaw, an administrative assistant in the education department in the administrative offices of the museum, where unbeknownst to Loeb, someone in the next office was hammering and sanding, which can be heard throughout the recording. No outro, just flows right into part b.
Part B: Distortion, hiss. No intro--just flows right from Part A. Should add "unions" to the keywords. And I would swap out "art galleries" for something having to do with "museums" instead. It's not really a gallery. This is an episode of The Sour Apple Tree.
