Content: Interview is with Irene Lord, who became a household worker 23 years ago, when, at the age of 17, she came from the South to begin her first job in Virginia. She is now the newly-elected president of the Household Technicians of Nassau and Suffolk Counties, an organization that is fighting to guarantee household workers decent decent wages, social security, and fringe benefits. A Mr. Edwards of the Plaza Employment Agency is also interviewed. This program was produced by Bonnie Bellow. Has intro and outro music, but no real intro or outro.
