Part 2 of the evening starts with Vanaver on guitar accompanied by audience foot-stomping; on guitar, Which side are you on, The money crop (by Malvina Reynolds); a Macedonian folk melody played on a Bulgarian lyra; on the Greek laouto, a traditional Cretan sousta and 1940 (by Giannis Markopoulos); a gospel number accompanied by audience handclaps (by Bessie Jones); on guitar, Italian red wine (by Woody Guthrie); with Ted Rotante accompanying on harmonica, Southbound train (by Big Bill Broonzy) and Ain't got no honey baby now; and on solo guitar, If I were a carpenter.
